Research- Lab
My research journey has been a blend of experiences both inside and outside the lab. Through my school’s mentorship research program, I’ve had the privilege of participating in a research opportunity at Tsinghua University. Interning at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, allowed me to engage with cutting-edge research and tackle environmental issues from a different perspective.

Research- Field
I am an environmental enthusiast deeply committed to the future of our planet. I believe that the most effective way to tackle environmental challenges is to address small issues within local communities, one step at a time. My empathy extends to all living beings—humans, animals, and even the smallest plants—each deserving a bright future.
Beyond the lab, I’ve explored the wild. My journey began in 9th grade when I traveled to Jianning, Fujian Province, to follow scientific research on Sapindus with doctoral students from China Forestry University. On my own, I investigated the ecological migration challenges faced by the Ewenki and Tuvan indigenous tribes. Volunteering at the China National Botanical Garden deepened my passion, as I actively contributed to initiatives aimed at protecting our environment. Each of these opportunities has equipped me with valuable skills that I apply to my school and community, whether through the school garden or addressing ginkgo nut pollution in my neighborhood, empowering me to make a meaningful impact.
